Overview

Panchpokhari Trekking adventure is a dive into wild nature towards the north-eastern region of Sindhupalchowk district of Nepal where travelers will witness the five glacier holy lakes in magnificent natural setting. The Panchpokhari region is religiously important to Hindus and Buddhists and it is generally a pilgrimage rather than travel adventure for local travelers. The Panchpokhari Trekking adventure for international tourists is an interesting trip to the high altitude glacier lake situated in to beautiful natural setting. The word Panchpokhari give meaning as “Panch” as Five and “Pokhari” as Lakes which mean Five Lakes in general English. The Panchpokhari region lies in the altitude of 4100 meters residing in northern side of Kathmandu city encompassed by the fascinating views of Himalayas of Mount DorjeLakpa, Mount PhurbiChyaachu, Mount Madiya, Jugal Himalayan Range, Langtang Himalayan Range, and others. The Panchpokhari region is remote and unspoiled locale of lush mountains occupied by traditional nepali villages and beautiful nature.

The Panchpokhari Trekking adventure begins from 5-6 hours vehicle ride to Chautara of Sindhupalchowk district from Kathmandu City towards the Tibetan borders. The travelers will traverse through the lush mountains, farming lands, traditional villages, hilly tops, forests and timberlands of traditional Nepal. As the elevation increases during the travel the travelers will encounter traditional Tamang and Sherpa villages which is a Mecca for conventional societies. There are many natural wonders to see like caves, religious spots, river valleys, glacier lakes, waterfalls and lush forests. The Panchpokhari is the ninth best high wetland of the globe which is still unspoiled by modern day civilization.

Day 03: By Bus: Kathmandu to Chautara (1418m)
Day 04: Chautara to Phurse (2218m)
Day 05: Phurse to Kami Kharaka (2985m)
Day 06: Kami Kharaka to Pauwa Bas (3000m)
Day 07: Pauwa Bas to Hille Bhanjyang (3720m)
Day 08: Hille Bhanjyang to Nasim Pati (3700m)
Day 09: Nasim Pati to Panch Pokhari (Five Lakes) (406m)
Day 10: Panch Pokhari to Nasim Pati (3631m)
Day 11: Nasim Pati to Dukang (2100m)
Day 12: Dukang to Dhap (1200m)
Day 13: Dhap to Melamchi Bazar (870m)
Day 14: By Bus: Malamchi Bazar to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 15: Free day in Kathmandu for shopping and other activities
Day 16: Departure
