Overview

Mount Everest is the highest mountain and the Everest region is 6th best travel destination of the globe. Mount Everest is located in Nepal near the borders of China and Tibet. Mount Everest is an independent mountain peak of Mahalangur Mountain range which lies in China and Nepal. The international border between Nepal and China lies near to the Everest region of Nepal. Mount Everest is called as Sagarmatha in the local language of Nepal and Chomolungma in the local language of Tibet. The Mount Everest region is the one of the remote, untouched and unspoiled region from foreign civilization. The civilization living in Mount Everest region is the mixed society of Tibetan Buddhist following the ways of ancient Bon Po civilization of Himalayas. The Mount Everest is accompanied by other highest mountain of the world named as Mount Lhotse of 8516 meters, Mount Makalu of 8463meters, Mount Cho-Oyu of 8201meters, Mount Nuptse of 7855meters, Mount Changtse of 7580meters, Mount Gyachung Kang of 7952 meters, Mount Pumori of 7161 meters. Mount Baruntse of 7129meters, Mount AmaDablam of 6812 meters, Mount ImjaTse of 6160 meters, Mount Lobuche of 6145 meters and others. The Mount Everest region known as Solukhumbu region or Khumbu region have been visited by countless number of travelers, trekkers, mountaineers, voyagers, expeditors, researchers, tourists, and interested individuals since the successful ascend of Mount Everest by Sir Edmund Hill in the year 1953. The Nepal has become a prime destination for mountain climbing since then and Nepali tourism industry has become professional in organizing full scale mountain climbing expedition with tents and ports along with independent trekking excursion using local boarding houses and lodges. The Everest region of Nepal is a paradise for mountaineers and trekkers who will find a full range of resources and facility for climbing and trekking. The Mount Everest region is now a government protected region under the name of Sagarmatha National Park to have the government eye and security on this region.

The climbers land at Lukla airport from Kathmandu International Airport and rest at Namche Bazar for acclimatization until they are used to the climate of Everest region. The climbers then start trekking towards the Everest base camp at the elevation of 5364 meters at the southern side of Mount Everest. The climbers using the climbing route of Mount Everest of Nepal is said to be using the southeast ridge from the south side of Mount Everest. The climbers generally rest at base camp for acclimatization to reduce the risk of altitude sickness. After the first base camp the climbers will follow four high camp until they ascend the summit of Mount Everest. The basecamps located at the Mount Everest Mountain itself is called the high camps as they are setup on the climbing mountain. The four high camps setup in the Mount Everest are High Camp 1 at 6400meters, High Camp 2 at 6750 meters, High Camp 3 at 7100 meters, and High Camp 4 at 8400 meters. Finally from the High Camp 4 the climber move towards Everest Summit and do their ascending over Mount Everest. In the end the climbers descend towards the high base camps finally to the first base camp. The climbers from the Everest Base Camp return to Namche Bazar for resting and lodging. The climbers then return to Lukla airport to take air flight to Kathmandu.

Day 02: Full day Guided Tour in Kathmandu valley.
Day 03: Briefing at Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Tourism Industry Division.
Day 04: By Plane: Kathmandu to Lukla (35min-2800m). Trek to Phakding (4h walking-2640m).
Day 05: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (6h-3440m).
Day 06: Acclimatization day.
Day 07: Namche to Tengboche Monastery (6h-3867m).
Day 08: Tengboche to Pheriche (6h-4243m).
Day 09: Pheriche to Lobuche (6h-4930m).
Day 10: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (6h-5500m).
Day 11-50: Climbing Period Mt. Everest.
Day 51: Cleaning up Base Camp.
Day 52: Base Camp to Pheriche.
Day 53: Pheriche to Namche
Day 54: Namche to Lukla
Day 55: By Plane: Lukla to Kathmandu.
Day 56: Debriefing at Tourism Industry Division
Day 57: Free day in Kathmandu for shopping and other activities.
Day 58: Departure.
