The Muktinath Pilgrimage Tour begins from Jomsom which is one of the best and most delightful hill station of Nepal dominated by the most beautiful Himalayas of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Tukuche. There is an everlasting blazing flame known as Jwala Mai inside the Muktinath sanctuary said to be there from hundreds of years and the flame inside the sanctuary is flaming from hundreds of years. The science has claimed that the fire of Jwala Mai sanctuary as natural gas found in that district. The locale of Muktinath is popular for its traditional settlements of Thakali residents who are the primitive tribe of this district living there since hundreds of years. One of the traditional neighborhood settlements of Muktinath region is known as Marfa which is the capital of Thakali Tribe living in this area.
